How to Enable Personalized Ads in Google Chrome

Generally, ads in Chrome are automatically generated based on user search queries, but you can adjust these parameters manually in your Google Account. Let’s see how to make ads in Google Chrome match your interests.

Ad personalization in Google Chrome

If you’re using the desktop version of Chrome, click on your avatar in the top right corner. If you’re using the mobile version, tap the three dots > go to Settings > tap on your account.

Then, for both versions:

  • Manage your Google Account
  • Data & privacy
  • Scroll down to Ad settings
  • Ad personalization
  • Turn it on

Also, on that page, you can update your personal info (age, gender, language), and turn off various categories.
